Somm Tabrizi received his undergraduate degree from the University of Toronto, completing a specialization in International Relations and graduating with High Distinction. He subsequently obtained his Juris Doctor from Western University, where he received the Michael Allen Harte award for extracurricular and academic contributions to the law school community.
Called to the Bar of Ontario in 2015, Somm articled and practiced in the commercial litigation group of a prominent regional firm and at an established litigation boutique in downtown Toronto. He joined the Toronto office of Dyer Brown LLP in 2018, where his practice is dedicated to civil litigation, with a particular focus on insurance matters. He regularly appears in court and has represented clients before the Superior Court of Justice and the Small Claims Court.
Somm is also conversant in French and Persian (Farsi). When not practicing law, he enjoys playing soccer, cheering for his favourite sports teams and sampling new restaurants.
